Important Dates for our Parish and School

*First Penance will be celebrated in church on Thursday, March 12th at 7PM
*Confirmation is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th at 4:30PM
*First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, May 3rd (Archdiocesan regulations state that a child not attending a Catholic School must be in a PREP Program for at least 2 years before receiving a Sacrament. Neighboring parishes offering PREP include St. Peter the Apostle and St. Anne’s.)

Designer Bag Bingo –  Friday, Nov 8th – 6pm

Designer Bag Bingo will be held on Friday, November 8th to help raise funds for parish repairs. Tickets $35 in advance/$40 at the door. Doors open at 6PM. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks. Hot dogs, beer & soda will be sold. For info call 215-730-3960

Christmas Bazaar – Saturday, Dec 7th

Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 7th in the Church Hall. Watch the Church Bulletin for details.

Christmas Pageant – Thursday, Dec 19th – 7pm

Christmas Pageant–Enjoy the true meaning of Christmas on Thursday, December 19th as our parish school students recreate the Nativity. This beautiful performance is a highlight of the Christmas Season. The program will start at 7pm in the Church.

EITC Info session – Wednesday, Nov 6th

Coffee After Mass

One Sunday each month our parish Hospitality committee, assisted by a parish group or students from our school hold an informal Koffee Klatch after the 11AM Mass. Please check for dates in the Church Bulletin. #BETTERTOGETHER

Living Stations of the Cross & Holy Week Schedule

St. Laurentius 7th and 8th grade students will present the Living Stations of the Cross on Wednesday, April 10th at 7pm.  All are welcome!  Lenten Supper of homemade soup and bread will be served in the parish hall from 5:30-6:45pm before.

Saturday & Sunday April 13th & 14th: Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord.  The Passion of Jesus will be proclaimed.  Procession, blessing and distribution of palms enhance our Liturgy today:  Saturday 4:30pm, Sunday 8 & 11am

Holy Thursday, April 18th:  7:30PM

Good Friday, April 19th:  Celebration of the Lord’s Passion:  3:00 PM

Holy Saturday, April 20th: Easter Vigil in the Holy Night: 7:30PM

Easter Sunday, April 21st: 8am & 11am

Easter Monday, April 22nd: 12 noon

Ash Wednesday

Lent begins on Wednesday, March 6th. It is a universal day of fast and abstinence in the church. Ashes will be blessed and imposed after the homily at the 9am and 7pm masses.

Soup during Lent

On Wednesday, March 13th, we will begin our weekly Lenten Suppers, followed by the Stations of the Cross (7pm). Homemade soup and bread will be served in the parish hall from 5:30-6:45pm.

Tuesday, December 11th Advent Penance Service at 7PM, Prepare for Christmas by celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Thursday, December 20th St Laurentius School Pageant at 7PM. Join us for this beautiful celebration.
Saturday, December 22nd Christmas Karaoke doors open at 5:30PM. Donation $5 Adults over 15. Children under 14 & Under free! BYOB Light refreshments will be sold. Doors open at 5:30
Monday, December 24th Christmas Mass Vigil at 4:30
Tuesday, December 25th Mass at 8AM & 11AM
Monday, December 31st Vigil at 4:30

Annual Christmas Bazaar

The Holy Name Parish annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 1st from 11:00AM-7:00PM in Holy Name Church Hall.
